I've never been very fond of visiting the zoo. Although they are supposed to be fun and educational, they have always remind me of what the captive animals don't have: space, mates, freedom... I see them as prisoners who have commited no crime. What saddens me most is that zoos continue to exist in this era, when you can learn even more from the animal in the internet or watching a documentary. So my illo for this week is in protest, because nobody would like to be in the caged animal's place.
